The Winter Holidays are a time of togetherness when we show our appreciation for the people and communities that give us so much. Though everyone is understandably busy with family, friends, and their day jobs, our IMP Solutions team makes it a priority to gather our employees, vendor partners, clients, and their guests for a night appreciating their contributions to our success and showing our pride as a Maritime business. With that goal in mind, the Seventh Annual Songwriter’s Circle was a huge success.
A Night of Good Fun, Great Music, and Amazing Company
Over 350 guests gathered for the Seventh Annual Songwriter’s Circle on the evening of December 13th and they definitely brought their holiday spirits with them. People engaged in lively conversation, enjoying cocktails and delicious food supplied by local partners. After an hour and a half, all our guests moved toward their seats in anticipation of the main event: an evening of songs performed by some of the best Atlantic Canadian entertainers out there.
Once again, Bruce Guthro headlined a group of talented local musicians, performing classic songs and new favorites to a captivated audience. Bruce brings a natural energy and his own Maritime flavor to the event that makes every performance memorable. His involvement year after year makes our Songwriter’s Circle stand out from so many of our other incredible events.
The food, drinks, entertainment, and good times are all made possible thanks to the contributions of our sponsors. They are a large part of why the Songwriter’s Circle is a success year after year.
Giving Back to the Community
For the second year in a row, there was a charitable side to the Songwriter’s Circle. Together with our sponsor Nutanix, IMP Solutions donated money for a $6,000 Toys-R-Us shopping spree benefiting the children’s wing of the IWK Health Centre. We drew the name of one of our guests at random to lead the shopping spree along with members of our team and our co-sponsor. This year, Blair MacKinnon from Halifax Grammar School won the opportunity and had a blast selecting the toys and games going to children in need.
Though the Songwriter’s Circle is one of the largest IMP events of the year, it is by no means the only one. We take pride in being a part of the Maritime community and our employees are dedicated to getting out there, whether it’s raising funds for cancer research at the Light the Night Walk or taking part in the Tall Ships festival in Halifax. We have brilliant people and a lively culture in the Atlantic Provinces and as always, IMP Solutions looks forward to another year of providing IT solutions to and getting involved with the people and businesses of a province that we are happy to call home.
